Petrolines for Crude Oil

   PETCO took over operatorship of the Transportation System from Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company (GNPOC) on first of September 2014 as the first national operator of a crude oil pipeline and its associated facilities in Sudan. the 28 inch pipeline spans
a length of 1504 KM from Heglig in South Kordofan to the Marine Terminal (MT1) in Port Sudan.
  PETCO’s remotely controls the transportation system by a SCADA system from a centralized Main Control Centre (MCC) utilizing an integrated high speed digital telecommunication network to connect MCC and the various sites via voice and data.

PETCO Departments

Operations

o Operation department pumps crude oil after receiving it from the central processing plant, using pumps of different capacities.
o Department has implemented projects for the maintenance of crude transmission lines in Southern Sudan at the end of last year.

Technical Services and Engineering

o Design, Engineering and Project Management.
o Ensure Integrity of PETCO assets.
o To provide consultation, services, solutions and support to Operations and other departments/sister companies.
o Facilitate smooth operation of PL system.
o Provision of IT services along the pipeline and field facilities.

Administration and Supplies

o A&S Department (Administration & Supplies Department) is the key Support Department responsible to provide all necessary support to PETCO’s business & operations o A&S consist of four sections: CPL Section (All Purchasing, Contracting & Logistics), Material Management Section(Cataloguing, Warehouse & all Material Management), General Services Section (Field Missions, Transportation, Travelling & all other general services ) and Filed Services Section (Crew Change, Field Accommodation with related services, Filed Building Maintenance, Fright Forwarding & all other field services).
o A&S providing its deliverables by a 38 PETCO Staff & 130 Outsource Staff .

Finance and Accounting

o Monitoring costs, supervising accounting and creating reports. o Compliance with accounting and financial standards and consolidation of financial data.
o Ensuring the proper execution of strategic planning processes budget and work programs.
o To maintain The profitability of the company through its ability to maximize profits.
o To settle liabilities and obligations via repaying its debts.
o Good management of the company’s cash flow.

Security

o Security is the most dynamic organ at the company and a great responsibility consigned to our goal and we count our self as a very essential part of the company.
o In our actively endeavoring to fulfill our objectives we are working very hard to create and provide a suitable and secure environment to the company staff, Equipment and properties.
